massage therapy for patients with fibromyalgia

Well, what I learned from my research, and the last class, is mainly these 2 points: fibromyalgia is actually a syndrome b/c it is so complex AND a massage therapist should avoid deep pressure, even if a patient requests it. Deep pressure will feel great, probably (for people with and without fibromyalgia, and there are only a few maladies that contraindicate deep pressure), during the session, but the patient will hurt, probably, for a LONG time after.
